Task owners have the ability to restrict assistants from bidding based on whether the assistant:

	Lives in another country (determined by your business profile if configured otherwise your personal profile)
	Lives outside the radius of the task owners location (currently you will only see warning but can still bid, we will review how this is received within the community and may restrict bidding altogether depending on the feedback)
	Does not have enough feedback
	Has not been invited to bid
	Is not a registered business (determined by your ABN/GST number of you business profile)

If applicable you will see a warning or error message when viewing the task detail page. Depending on the restriction type, the bid button may be disabled.

If you are affected by a bidding restriction you could use the message board and ask the task owner whether they would be prepared to lift the particular bidding restriction so that you can place a bid. Having a completed business profile which the task owner can review by clicking on your username may help influence with their decision
